Evaluation of my blogging experience

Hi everyone, today is the time of write the last blog, wich is actually of my blogging experience to this semester. Before to stat talking to you about the blogs what we did during the semester, I have to say I didnt know all this about blogging I did not have a blog at the beginning of the semester nor had I written one. Now leaving that aside, I really like blogging hahaha. I think its a good idea for a course of english, it allows us to expand our knowledge of English as grammatical, we could say, it gives us freedom on how to write what we think and for more than one way. And I also liked that the topics of the blogs were easy to take, develop and even interesting, almost all. About my writing skills, I  think they improved but I have a feeling that I do not want to, that is to say, I'm sure I still have to learn and exercise even more. I think that you receive a report explaining our mistakes in every helpful blog a lot to improve my skills to write in English, have a little feedback, the teacher already does it but I refer to him as a more paper feedback. Favourite series, movie or book.

Hi everyone, today I will talk about my favourite book wich is the saga of Harry Potter. I am sure that you have heard about the film or movies based on the books written by the author: J.K.Rowling. The saga presents a young wizard (Harry) and his best friends (Ron and Hermione) into adventures of all kind, that the protagonists spend throughout their studies in the best school of magic and sorcery: Howarts. As you can read, in the Harry Potter universe, there is magic, giants, goblins, dragons, flying brooms and endless magical creatures and different types of magic. The book, as I said before, is about Harry and his friends, who throughout the saga are faced with the forces of evil, in the book called "Mortifagos" and there is one in particular called Tom Riddle that tried to kill Harry in all the books along with the people who follow him. I read all books of the saga when I was child (with 11-12 years old) and I like it because I love the idea with a world with magic first of all, the books are interesting, funny, easy to read and not so expensive. Its a good book I think, especially for kids and teenagers. Thanks for reading, bye.


 

A subject you enjoy studying this semester

Hi everyone, today I will talk about my favourite subject of  this semester. It is General Chemistry 1 and I cursed right now for third time. The first time I had it, I didnt passed. And the second time I passed with a 4 like mark of the curse. Now I actually I'm studying it because I want to finish the curse with a better mark for my file of student. The curse contains the basic principles of the Qhemistry, the classes are expository mode where the teacher presents a power point with subject matter and exercises to do them together (2 days for week, adding 3 hours) and also all Fridays we reunite with the "ayudantes" from the subject and we solve the seminary guide, we clarify doubts and before the class ends, we have a control of the same topic that we saw. I actually like the subject because we have the opportunity to complement the knowledge base we have of chemistry (which we all bring from the school), deepening it and motivating us with the courses that come to us. Career related an expert on your field

Hello everyone, today i will talk about the expert that I admire in the field that im studying, Antoine Lavoisier, the father of modern chemistry. Antoine-Laurent de Lavoisier was born in Paris, France, into a bourgeois family that provided a quality education and influenced by his parents entered the prestigious Collège Mazarin, where he studied Law. After completing his studies he was admitted to the Elite Lawyers order, however this activity did not interest the young lawyer, who began to pursue scientific research. In 1766 he received the Gold Medal of the Academy of Sciences of Paris for an essay in which he exhibited a method of public lighting for large populations. Two years later, in 1768, he presented a series of articles on analysis of water samples and was admitted to the Academy, of which he was director in 1785 and treasurer in 1791. In 1787 the "Méthode de nomenclature chimique" (Method of Chemical Nomenclature) was published, under the influence of Lavoisier's ideas, in which the elements and chemical compounds then known were classified and named. I liked because he think byself, when he study chemistry, in a law  that was not yet law in his time. The French chemist believed that matter was not created or destroyed, so he devoted himself to collecting and analyzing all the substances that intervene in the chemical reactions he studied and in his experiments he tried to show that this belief was a reality. And now, its actually a law in chemistry and in the highschool it is taught as the law of conservation of the mass or "the Lavoisier law" which is one of the bases of modern chemistry.

Memorable Holidays/Vacations

Hello everyone, today im going to speak to you about my favorite vacation. The last summer (especifically in february) with my family we travel by car towards Frutillar for 10 days. We were my dad, my mom, my sister and me. It was a trip that I expected to do a lot since I did not know any more to the south of Curico. I remember getting up early and in about 8 hours we stopped at a place called "7 tazas", we ate a sandwich, we took pictures next to the waterfalls and we continued our way, after about 3 hours we arrived at our destination, Frutillar. We stay in a camping of cabins that our grandparents recommended to us, that was next to the Llanquihue lake. It was a amazing trip, the next days we toured the village of Frutillar, we go for lunch and take tea with kuchenes from the area in differents restaurants, visit their free fairs, recognized buildings and obviously bathe in the waters of the lake. After having already known the area, we traveled most of the days to other areas close to Frutillar such as "Aguas Calientes", Chiloe, the waterfalls of Petrohue, Puerto Octay and the lake of all the saints. I really had a great time with my family and I expect to comeback soon. My favourite Picture

Hello everyone, today im giong to speak to you about my favourite picture. Before everything I want to tell you im not a person who likes take photos too much. I have a few from my and not so much of places I visit. So I choose a picture from internet I liked very much:

This photo titled "Mother's Love", was taken by a professional mexican photographer called Alejandro Prieto and the picture represent  an adult Caribbean pink flamingo feeds a chick in Yucatán, Mexico. I really like this kind of picture some like "of wild life" and also represents one of my favourite animals, the flamingo, in his natural habitat. The truth is I actually didnt know when it was taken, but it was the picture selected in second place in the contest organized by the national geographic “the picture of the year”, the lastyear. My favourite genre/musician

Hello everyone, today I will talk about my favourite genre of music and musician. First of all, I like almost the most of genres of music. I just didnt like the electronic and metal music. So actually, i dont have a favourite genre of music. I have always heard a bit of everything. Now about my musician favourite, I have a few bands that I like a lot and I heard it every day in my life, traveling in the subway, in the bus, in the street and on my house while doing things like as usual, like taking a shower. That bands are "Los Prisioneros" and "Queen". Both I started to listen (thanks to my parents) when I was a child. Later and for reasons I dont know, I stopped listening to them until a couple of years ago or so. And when I heard them again (it sound a little cheesy this) but I was filled with euphoria, joy and others feelings that reminded me of my chilhood. Both bands I like because of the lyrics of their songs and the rhythm they have. That, thanks for reading.

My favourite piece of technology

Hello everyone, today im going to speak to you about my favourite piece of technology. Wich is in fact, the cellphone. My first cellphone my dads give to me in 7grade of school and I remember that it was a very simple cellphone and I use to for place alarms in the mornings when I went to school and for making and receive calls in emergencies. After that I had 2 cellphones that really got spoiled by playing so much with them. After that and with the passage of time I learned they are not to play all day in them and they are not consoles. Today I use my cellphone (I have it since about six months) for differents activities, for example: I send and receive emails, I have internet access, I can edit documents, chat with friends, listen music, watch videos-movies and take pictures among ohter things. I use it generaly for shorts moments throughout the day, answer text messages for friends or seing the University notifications. And not a day goes by when I do not use it the truth. I like it because a simple reason, its so useful and I can configure it as I want, with the pictures, music and apps what I want. Finally I really cant imagine my life without my cellphone, i dont know it was better? but I really would miss being able to talk to the person I wanted and instantly and so easily. Why did i choose this carrer?

Hello everyone. Im going to speak about like as they will suppose why i did choose this carrer (Qhemistry). The truth is since i was child y want to be a atronaut, but when i ended the highschool i really dont have any idea of what i wanted to study. I study anyway for the PSU, not neglecting the hisgchool obviusly and i was selected in the Catholic University in the carrer of Biochemistry. I stayed there almost 2 years (i dont liked the ambient of the university, it was far from my house and i was not very close to the people of my generation, i have my friends but i dont know, anyway i was not comfortable studying there) and after that y worked and prepare me for pay again the PSU . This time i was selected in the University of Chile in the carrer of Qhemistry and Pharmacy, i was expulse because academic problems after the first year and i changed to the carrer of Qhemistry in the same university. Where am i actually and very happy i have to add, im so excited with the carrer, the thruth is that chemistry always i liked in the highschool (i had a brushstroke of chemistry in the eight grade and then in the rest of years i did very well actually in the signature, also thanks to my teacher of chemistry i suppose what it is a really good teacher i fell in love with the chemistry a little because it was a thing that i was good for it and i dont know, i like it). I want to tell and im happy for tell to you it was that chemistry what i saw in the highschool its about nothing of the science itself so im really happy of studiyng chemistry now. Until now i know a few partners of the carrer and they liked to me, they are cool and i have not had many test until now but i have done well until now. When i finish the carrer i want to study a postgrade and after that a PhD in other country of the world i want hopefully, for after back here and be academic of the university. It was i want to do actually when i finish the carrer. I can only study for the tests and achieve a good mark in all courses along the carrer and give my best for be a good chemist. 

Blog 1: My autoblography

Hello everyone. I Tomás Ortiz Gómez was born in Chile specifically in the city of San Antonio in August of 1995. I´m the son of a head in human resources in a retail store (my mom) and a police officer (my father). Father that abandoned me and my mom in the moment when he knows about of my existence and i never met him. Later i was born, like im 3 years old with my mom and grandmother we moved to the city of Santiago and my mom after some years he met my actually dad. I finish my pri-school, primary school and highschool studies in the same college it was called Rafael Sanhueza Lizardi wich is located near Patronato. And im actually study Qhemistry in the University of Chile. I live with my parents and with my little sister wich is ten years less than me. I love reading, talk with people (socialize), practice sports (i practice fotball and handball actually) and watch anime but how im in the university i dont have much time so y see something like one chapter of mi anime favourite a week:(.
